Kim Adams, AIC
Florida Property Insurance Attorney & Licensed Public Adjuster
Orlando, Florida attorney Kim Adams has over 30 years of insurance claims experience working for both insurance companies and policyholders. Kim has handled thousands of claims. Her variety of experience gives her unique skills and a level of professionalism that few, if any, attorneys have.
Kim began her distinguished career as a multi-line claims adjuster for insurance companies. From there, she worked as an independent adjuster on many catastrophes including Hurricanes Andrew, Opal, Bertha and Fran, among other storms.
She obtained her Florida public adjuster license in 1997 and began using the experience and knowledge that she gained while working for the insurance companies to represent policyholders.
Realizing that she could help clients much more if she represented them as a lawyer, Kim became a member of the Florida Bar in 2005. Her law practice has been dedicated exclusively to representing commercial and residential owners in disputes with their insurance company.
Kim also spent several years as an expert witness testifying in claims settlement practices (“Bad Faith”) and has been approved as an expert to testify in court on those matters. Her enhanced knowledge of claims handling procedures is instrumental when representing her clients.
Many of Kim's clients have come as a result of recommendations from former clients. Kim and her clients work together as a team to bring a resolution that is most compatible with her clients’ needs. She is always just a phone call away.
Kim lives in Orlando with her best fur buddy, Toby, and loves reading, fine dining and socializing with friends.
